Child lab is a research group operating within the Infant Development Psychology Laboratory at the Institute of Psychology, Jagiellonian University. The laboratory was established by Prof. Marta Białecka-Pikul and Dr Arkadiusz Białek in 2011 as the first unit of its kind in Poland. Our research is funded by the National Science Centre and the Jagiellonian University Excellence Initiative.

Research Methods

In our research, we use modern, non-invasive methods adapted to the specific nature of working with infants and young children, including: behavior analysis using microanalytic coding and computer vision:
